In some products, in order to solve the leakage phenomenon caused by the aging of sealing gaskets, it is allowed to adjust the sealing performance of plate heat exchangers. That is, tighten the bolts of the combined plate heat exchanger again, adjust the pressure of the elastic sealing gasket between the heat exchangers, and solve the drip leakage problem. The allowable maximum and minimum stresses are generally given on the nameplates of heat exchangers with this function. For the new heat exchanger sheet group, the minimum allowable stress should be used to connect and fix. Depending on the number of heat exchanger plates in each group, the tightening force of the heat exchanger can be adjusted one or more times. Each time the nut is tightened, the nut can be tightened into 3mm, and the stress of the adjusting sheet should always be paid attention to during the tightening process. Moreover, only the heat exchanger without working pressure is allowed to adjust the tightening force at room temperature to prevent drip leakage.
For plate heat exchangers whose stress adjustment range is not given in the nameplate, the stress values are generally given in the part drawings. When tightening such plate heat exchangers, the tightening moment should not in any case be lower than the value specified in the drawings. Because it is related to the assembly quality and deformation of plate heat exchanger. When the tightening moment reaches the required value, the elastic gasket can be replaced in a planned way. For plate heat exchangers used in important production equipment and corrosive media, it is recommended to have a set of spare seals. The sealing parts of plate heat exchanger can be stored for about 3 years in transparent plastic packaging at 18 ℃ of warehouse.
Fixation of seals
In principle, the fixing of seals can be divided into two categories: bonded fixing and non-bonded fixing. The shape of the sealing gasket should be in accordance with that of the sealing part of the plate heat exchanger. It must be pointed out that the adhesive fixing method does not have any effect on the sealing function.
